Barcelona to Host First Game at Renovated Camp Nou over the weekend

Barça revealed they are set to host at the partially upgraded Camp Nou over the weekend. The club will host the Basque side in La Liga 30 months after they moved out for construction to commence.

“Returning home was our dream. Finally, it’s happening. We are back at Spotify Camp Nou.”

Attendance will be limited but 45,401 spectators can be present as per the current authorization. After final construction, the Camp Nou is due to hold over 104,000 attendees, increasing from the former 99,000. Barça announced completed upgrades featured an updated entryway for the team along with upgraded changing facilities.

Recent Activities

Barça organized a public practice inside the stadium in early November. Officials stated they were hoping for permission from Uefa to play their next home Champions League game versus the German side next month at the stadium. Previous fixtures took place at Estadio Olímpic Lluís Companys.
