Close to 90 Flights Associated to Jeffrey Epstein Allegedly Came to or from UK Airfields
A review has uncovered that close to 90 flights linked to Jeffrey Epstein are said to have landed at and took off from British airports, with some allegedly transporting British women who assert they were victimized by the found guilty sex offender.
Flight Logs Uncover Pattern of Travel
The travel manifests were part of a trove of legal papers and papers made public by the estate of Jeffrey Epstein that have been released over the past year. The investigation found 87 aircraft movements connected to Epstein â including many that were hitherto undisclosed â coming into or leaving from UK airports between the start of the 1990s and 2018.
Onboard Individuals and Post-Conviction Flights
Unnamed âfemalesâ were recorded among the individuals travelling into and out of the UK. Significantly, 15 of these British airport journeys happened subsequent to Epsteinâs 2008 conviction for soliciting sex from a child.
âThis is âappallingâ that there had never been a âthorough probe in the UKâ into his dealings in the country,â remarked American attorneys acting for hundreds of Epstein victims.
UK Survivors and Legal Proceedings
Testimony from one of the British victims aided the conviction of Epsteinâs associate socialite Ghislaine Maxwell of sex trafficking of minors in the US in 2021. Yet, that survivor has not been approached by British law enforcement, as stated by her attorney based in Florida.
In a statement, the the Met indicated they had ânot been provided with any new evidence that would support reopening the probe.â They noted, âShould new and relevant information be presented to us, including any resulting from the release of documents in the US, we will assess it.â
Continuing Document Release and Legal Rulings
A bill to disclose every document held by the American government in regarding Epstein was approved by the US Congress last month. The Department of Justice has until 19 December to follow through. A vast number of papers are anticipated to be made public.
In a related development, a federal judge ruled last week that the department could publicly release case files from a sex-trafficking case against Maxwell, Epsteinâs close friend, who is serving a 20-year prison sentence over the charges.
